Presented is analysis of physical trained state of students at high school. Investigated is the level of development of physical qualities among students of Saint Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions. Conducted is comparative analysis of obtained results for their conformity with normative of the all-Russian complex GTO (stage VI). Analyzed are results of 853 students (57 girls and 275 boys) as to such normative as running 100 m (men and women), running 3000 m (boys), long jump (boys and girls), slope from a standing position (boys and girls), pull UPS (boys), flexion and trunk extension from prone position for 1 min (girls). The analysis of received information showed, that in boys the least poorly developed is such physical quality as flexibility. By girls in their vast majority the reason of low results by delivery of control standards is lagging behind in development of such physical qualities, as speed and power.
