The role of digital transformation in developing a life safety culture among university students is analyzed. The effectiveness of mobile smartphone applications designed to improve students’ personal safety in everyday life and in emergency situations is assessed. The article explores the trends and prospects for digitalization of the educational process in the discipline “Life Safety” as a basis for developing a motivated and responsible attitude toward human safety issues in all areas of life, both outside of production and in professional activities, among students of any specialty. Examples of the digitalization of occupational safety are provided as a factor contributing to students’ respectful and motivated attitude toward issues of protecting human life and health.
