Development of pedagogical thought and education in the USA in the 20th century

Analysis on development of pedagogical thought in the USA in the 20th century is presented. Temporal stages in the named process are detached, as well as philisophical and pedagogical concepts and basic methodological approaches of the US pedagogy within the framework of that stages are examined. Also their significance and influence on educational systems both in Russia and the USA are shown.
