Spiritual and moral upbringing of youth as emotionally evaluative pedagogical phenomenon

Presented is analysis of the process of spiritual and moral upbringing of youth in contemporary Russian pedagogics. Given is definition of the concept of “spiritual and moral upbringing” in comparison with the concept of “moral upbringing”. Detached is important indication of spiritual and moral upbringing that the authors determined as influence on emotionally motivational sphere of personality. The authors also analyze religious and secular approaches to this process, as well as role of emotionally evaluative supply in this one. Conclusion is made, that influence of this indication has complex integrated character, because it leans against definite system of humanitarian values, which are implicitly present in content of upbringing as experience in emotional activity as to attitude to the world.
