As part of the MAI pilot project to improve the higher education system, the main educational programs are being redesigned. One of the new approaches is the modular principle of building programs, which includes eight educational modules, including professional and career development, business thinking, digital competencies, humanitarian thinking, general professional, specialization, and others. The key objective of each module is to fulfill the target function of the main educational programs, which is to train engineering personnel who possess not only technical engineering competencies, but also modern humanitarian thinking, research culture, and business process management skills.
The article presents approaches to designing and organizing a professional and career module to ensure early professional orientation and conscious individualization of the learning trajectory.
