Culture educational environment of high school: genesis of the concept

Presented are results of theoretical analysis of genesis of the concept of “cultural and educational environment of university”. Actuality of the study of pedagogical essence of cultural and educational environment of university is determined by increasing role of person in development of society and strengthening of influence of social environment on development of personality. Research method: historical and pedagogical analysis of genesis of the concept. Review of scientific works, reflecting features formation of concepts of “environment”, “educational environment”, “cultural and educational environment” is presented. The results of the study: pedagogical essence of environmental approach and cultural and educational environment, reflected in their concepts at each cultural and historical stage of development of society and science, changed from understanding the environment as a factor, that has formative effect on the object (personality), to representation of the system environment-man in coordinates of subject – subject interaction.
