Academic reputation of universities in the focus of international sciencemetry

Presented is research work, the purpose of which is to study influence of academic activity on reputation of universities.

The paper examines the content and structure of the academic reputation, presents results of the analysis of the databases of the most famous and popular world ratings. Comparative analysis of sciencemetric indicators of leading universities of the world over the past three years has been carried out. High correlation between the overall rating of the academic reputation of universities and sciencemetric indicators was established. The authors developed structural influence models, which determine the university's reputation in the modern and future global educational space.
