Analyzed is the situation, developed in ecological ethics: difficulties encountered in it’s teaching are examined. Activity of engineer comes into conflict with certain principles of ecological ethics: for correct moral choice, philosophical analysis is necessary. Though necessity of observance of moral principles for relations of the person with the nature is recognized by scientists analyzing ways of exit from ecological crisis, principles of ecological ethics are not accepted yet by all researchers. There are it’s various versions, that disperse in understanding of object of moral action and not always answer humanism principles. Disagreements exist, for example, concerning anthropocentrism and non-anthropocentrism opposition, definitions of moral status of biological kinds and ecosystems, understanding position of person among other live beings. Conclusion is made, that main difficulties in teaching are insufficient development of theoretical and methodological basis of ecological ethics.

Key words: ethics, ecological crisis, ecological ethics, moral responsibility, higher education, anthropocentrism.
