Formation of conflict competence in students of medical university on the basis of general cultural competences

Analysed are problems and possibilities of rational methods of determining level of mastering qualifications of students in high school in competence approach. Principal types of modern classifications of competence of students are presented, and also analysed is their epistemological and hermeneutic phenomenology. Substantiated is division of competences into three categories, i.e. instrumental, interpersonal and systemic. Considered and identified are two cross-cutting competencies, that constitute conflict competence, conventionally described as “general cultural competence”. As a result of decomposition, selected are two substantive components of cultural competence of training of specialists. Ways of formation of conflict competence of students and post-graduates of medical high schools in developing programs for specialists and post-graduate students on the base of worked out common cultural competences are defined.
