Analyzed are role and potential of cultural anthropology, as to the sphere of research in education and educational environment. Revealed are peculiarities in interpretation the subject of research with demonstration of inter-disciplinary connections of cultural anthropology. Determined is the point of view of cultural anthropology on education as element of socio-cultural environment, as well as substantiated is necessity of studying of such, with tacking into account norms, meanings, symbols of corresponding culture / culture & society / social groups. Special attention in the article is paying to characteristic of methodological foundations and methodic instruments with definitions of their possibilities in the sphere of education. Noted is significant role of cultural anthropology in studying poly-cultural, poly-ethnic educational environments and forming of culture of dialogue and regulation of inter-cultural communications in education. Also selected and identified are some points of using cultural anthropology for study and regulation of educational environment.
