Computer graphic as a tool of training students in the direction of “Decorative applied art and folk crafts”

Examined is the problem of computer technologies as means of training of students on direction of education of “Revival and development of art crafts”. The author focuses attention on computer graphics as principal basic of training specialists in the sphere of art crafts. Given is description of graphic editors, applied in art creativity. Also described is the process of ornamentation with application of computer technologies. Presented is description of new technologies in decorative applied art, with emphasis being placed on the use of ChPU machines, which opened possibility to bring woodcarving onto new large-scale level. The author comes to conclusion, that modern technologies of art processing of wood demand from the master not only professional skills in use of carver’s tools, but also excellent knowledge of computer programs, in particular Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator.
