Basic approaches to education in folk decorative applied art under conditions of modernization of education

Examined are basic approaches to education and practical training of specialists in national folk decorative applied arts and crafts. Analyzed is the problem of correlation of theory and practice of education in the field of traditional folk art, elaborating by the author as applied to developing education. Also presented is description of organization of educational process at high schools, realizing direction of training of “Decorative applied art and folk craftworks”. In connection with that shown is discrepancy between nowadays using approaches to the essence of education in folk decorative applied arts as to conditions of modernization of educational process. Offered is complex of interconnected approaches, working in accurate hierarchical system, directed on solution of modern problems of developing education, conscious mastering of knowledge and abilities to apply them in practical activity.
