Presented is flexible model of organization of independent work of students in the process of training in reading of foreign language hypertexts. Flexibility of the model intends on gradual transition from hard administration by lecturer to accumulation of administrative functions of students.

Key words: hypertext, introductive course, communicative cognition task, hard instruction, aim task, aim result, heuristic activity of real independent work.
