The article presents the results of the author’s pilot study conducted by the method of semantic content analysis in classical and modern intellectual performance. Methodology. The empirical basis of the study was the array of data obtained using the Kribrum.Pro software platform, which integrates machine learning models for solving specific research and business tasks. The combined data analysis method made it possible to identify and systematize the best practices of Russian universities in the transition to the new educational model University 4.0. Research results. The list of Russian universities that have accumulated the most extensive practices for the transition to the new educational model University 4.0 has been clarified; the attitude of media actors towards the transition of universities to the University 4.0 model has been revealed; key areas of institutionalization of the transition of Russian universities to the University 4.0 model have been identified. Conclusions have been drawn: the process of institutionalization of the University 4.0 model has begun in the Russian educational space Currently, the initiator and driving force behind the introduction of the University 4.0 model in the Russian Federation are the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, business and the country’s leading universities, but their contributions differ and require more interaction.
