The current stage of educational development is characterized by the intensive implementation of new digital technologies, among which artificial intelligence (AI) occupies a special place. The introduction of AI into the educational process requires careful planning and a systematic approach, as well as constant attention and improvement. Modern universities are faced with the need to adapt their educational programs and methods to the new reality brought about by AI capabilities. Currently, sufficient experience with the application of AI technologies in higher education has not yet been accumulated, and therefore, the speed of their integration and testing is a key challenge. The aim of this study is to examine the attitudes of faculty and students toward the use of AI tools in education and to identify the main areas of AI application in the educational process. This article presents data from surveys of university students and faculty, conducted by various institutions and researchers, on the integration of AI into the educational process. This article is devoted to exploring the possibilities of introducing AI technologies into the educational process at universities. The prospects and challenges of integrating intelligent systems into educational technologies are discussed. The authors plan to further explore the impact of AI on the quality of education, learning outcomes, and the transformation of faculty professional skills.
