Analyzed are features of academic performance on disciplines “Physics, mathematics”, “Chemistry” in the 1st grade students of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University n.a. prof. V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky. The aim of the study is to characterize parameters of medical students’ academic progress on disciplines of natural sciences in the context of introduction of new elective course on “Physical basis of medical equipment”. Shown is, that introduction of additional discipline “Physical basis of medical equipment” in this course is resulting in significant improvement of students’ academic progress on disciplines “Physics, mathematics”, and “Chemistry”. Also introduction of outrageous factor as allowed to identify the principal role of consequence in teaching of disciplines of natural sciences block in strength and sign of correlative (inter-disciplinary) bonds of average scores on physics, mathematics, and chemistry.

Key words: average score, quality of knowledge, academic performance, elective disciplines.
