Some results of the study of corporate culture of Russian technical universities are given in the article. The study was targeted to describe present situation with university’s corporate culture in order to answer the purpose of bringing this culture into line with environmental challenges. The study shows that present corporate culture of universities not entirely corresponds with environmental challenges. In particular, it critically depends on personal qualities of a university’s leader.
