Presented is a prognosis of STEM-education development, i.e. innovation directions in science and education connected with introduction of perspective innovation technologies. Citing as an example the USA, specific mechanism to solve conformity tasks of higher education to tendencies of modern innovation development is also demonstrated.
Key words: innovation directions forecast, new specialities and disciplines in higher education institutions, technological development, trends of modern innovation development, STEM-technologies.
