Experience of Tomsk polytechnic university in modernization of it’s own educational standard aimed at improving of quality of graduates’ training for complex engineering activity is presented. Also described is correction of university educational standard’s parts on the basis of comparative analysis of CDIO standards’ recommendations, as well as TPU educational program in favour of development of basic engineering education programs.
