The professional development of a specialist is not limited to a list of industry-specific knowledge and skills. The subjectivity of an individual, its readiness and harmonization with the upcoming professional activity, plays an important role in the professional development and realization of a specialist. The article reveals the history of the formation, composition, and structure of this complex phenomenon of self-awareness and the life stance of students, scientific schools, and departments of technical universities in the light of achieving the country’s national technological and educational sovereignty.
