The article examines the transformation of youth public consciousness in Uzbekistan under contemporary social processes driven by globalization, digitalization and institutional reforms. The empirical basis consists of social media monitoring, a survey of 1,279 respondents aged 14–25, and expert interviews. The findings show that the digital environment has become the main channel of information socialization, while the family still plays a central role in value formation and key life decisions. Value orientations increasingly emphasize independence, financial self-sufficiency and finding “one’s place in life”, along with a desire to reconcile traditional and modern values in a hybrid model. International experience from the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Republic of Korea, China and Tajikistan illustrates the effectiveness of combining legal regulation, prevention and media literacy to protect youth in the digital environment. Based on the analysis, the paper proposes recommendations for strengthening media literacy, enhancing cooperation between families, schools and communities, and supporting constructive digital socialization of youth.
