The article discusses the problem of psychological well-being of high school students during the preparation for the Unified State Exam. The importance of psychological well-being for successful adaptation to educational requirements and achieving high results is emphasized. The article provides a theoretical analysis of the concept of ‘psychological well-being’ and examines various approaches to its definition. The point of view was taken as the basis, which is integrative and includes the components of well-being: affective, meta-personal, ideological, intrareflexive, interreflexive. The results of an empirical study conducted among 110 graduates aimed at identifying the features of the structure of psychological well-being in other polar groups of high school students are presented. The study revealed a low level of psychological well-being among the majority of high school students (75%), which indicates violations of the personal functioning of graduates. In the structure of psychological well-being of high school students, during the preparation for the Unified State Exam, the most significant components are: self-actualization, spontaneity, self-esteem, sensitivity, flexibility of behavior and value orientations. The meta-need block in the structure of psychological well-being is of the greatest importance, due to the actualization of the need for self-realization and personal growth. The results of the study can be used to develop psychological support programs for high school students during exam preparation.
