Within the analysis of the role of contradictions in the forward movement of socialist society, special attention is paid to the conditions of Chinese modernization. The study reveals the specificity of contradictions in socialist China, which differs from antagonistic contradictions in capitalist societies. This allows for a deeper understanding of the impact of contradictions on social progress and the effectiveness of the modernization process in China.
