The purpose of the article is to study the experience of integrating online and offline tools in the practice of a regional university, highlighting problematic issues coming from both internal and external audiences that affect the development of integration and the rating of the university. The research vector is aimed at identifying the role of integration of offline and online tools in improving the effectiveness of the university’s professional activities, where integration is based on research and highlighting current trends and requirements of future applicants. The tasks include generalization of knowledge, experience and skills of integration of offline and online tools by a regional university, as well as a comparative study of the practice of regional universities that are competitors in the aspect under study. The monitoring of the studied sphere and competitors is carried out, the results of improving the efficiency of the university’s educational activities against the background of the integration of offline and online tools are presented. The approbation of the results is included in the practical colloquiums of the author of the article, which were highly appreciated by colleagues and groups of students from different universities of Rostov-on-Don in the 2022/2023 academic year.
