Presented is analysis of scientific researches of Russian and foreign scientists, considering the problem of studying color from various points of view. A.F. Losev in the work “Dialectics of myth” presented sequential analysis of formation of mythology of color through phenomena and subjects and showed it’s various semantic gradation. Attempt to use of such type of analysis was realized on example of mythology of white color by formation of the concept of brand collection of clothing, dedicated to the territory of Belgorod region, and the city of Belgorod. This experience found it’s development in methodology of lectures of educational disciplines of “Psychology of color” as to design of costume, where there is the need of elaborating project idea, based on conceptual and creative approach to solution of designing task in practice.
