Revealed is the content of the concept of “social interaction in professional sphere” through basic supra professional skills (soft skills). The authors show the urgency of training students for social interaction in professional sphere, they present and briefly describe the main components of mastering competence of social interaction in professional sphere. They also give the list of competences, called soft skills by scientists, that forms general ideas about their diversity. On the example of vocational training for students of SibSAU (Siberian University, the city of Krasnoyarsk), direction of professional training for development of soft skills is indicated, also attention is drawn to a number of activities aimed at solving this problem.
