Ethno-confessional dialog as instrument of preventive measures against extremism in youth midst

Analyzed are both necessity and possibility of ethno-confessional dialogue in educational breeding activity of lecturer at higher school. It is noted, that possibilities of understanding of people of different faiths are conditioned by a number of objective factors, on the basis of which it is possible to construct the dialogue. Given is comparative analysis of interpretation of some basic concepts of Christianity and Islam. But since fundamental concepts in culture of different civilizations are different system of values and have different content, it imposes certain limits on the format of dialogue. The aim of interfaith dialogue among students is in identifying foundation for understanding of different of representatives of different faiths and cultures, and in developing respect for their ideals, values and religious traditions. In the process of implementing this aim, ethno-confessional dialogue could become an effective tool for prevention of extremism in youth midst.
