Substantiated is cultural meaning of key role of research education in genesis of society of knowledge. Shown is the role of generative didactics as theory of research education in the process of formation of personality, capable for creating new knowledge, it’s technologization and integrating into socio-economic turnover. Identified and revealed are basic didactic principles of generative education. Also levels of organization of research education are considered, i.e. institutional, environmental and educational. Research educational stages are also described, i.e. involvement, construction of problem-cognitive program, and incorporation of student’s achievements into activities of society. Conclusion is made, that socially critical zone of modern culture are not so much high technologies and scientific innovations, but human nature, capable to develop in itself value conscious attitude towards formation of creative novation.
