Analyzed is the problem of formation of educational motivations of students under conditions of three-leveled higher education. Accent is made on the problem of continuity in the process of formation of educational activity motivations, actualized because of new conception of development of higher professional education, formulated in “National doctrine of education in the Russian Federation”. Shown are essence characteristics of educational motivation’s formation on primary (bachelorship), base (magistracy) and final (post-graduate study) stages of training at high school, at the same time correlating activity of graduates with professional competences and personal characteristics. Conclusion is made, that detailed elaboration of quality and quantity indications of formed motivations of educational activity of students presents itself as perspective direction of bettering effectiveness of educational breeding process in high school.
