Symbol as a characteristic of change in values’ orientations of modern Chinese

The article is dedicated to research analysis of modern Chinese symbols on the periphery of public consciousness. Analysis of symbols is carried out on the basis of data received during questioning of culture repositories. The author concludes that China is still a traditional country with almost unchangeable value preferences.
