Attempt is made by the author to recreate image of outstanding encyclopedic scientist V.I. Vernadsky, and thus to show that because of high quality of natural sciences and math education Russia in resent past could produce scientists of the world level.
Key words: basic education, breeding, philosophical and mathematical thinking, noosphere, culture, humanism, patriotism, noospheric worldview, system of “teacher”.
