Theoretical prerequisites of modern reseaches in the phenomena of social justice

Examined are fundamentals of theoretical study in the phenomena of social justice, as well as approaches to unterpretation of ideas of justice by Western and Russian authors. Historical evolution of vision on phenomena of social justice in Russia is traced. Basic moments in choice of social justice principles in works of Russian sociologists are also reviewed.

Key words: social justice, equality, inequality, freedom.
