Regional aspect of business education development: Realities and prospects

This article is devoted to one of the most pressing issues at present — the development of business education. In the proposed article, the author describes the current state of business education in the Republic of Bashkortostan based on publicly available data. In particular, the author pays attention to the development of the concept of ‘business education’ depending on educational goals and context, and highlights academic, practice-oriented and corporate approaches. The article presents these approaches taking into account their development in the Republic. The author analyzes the demands of students and trainees for business education through programs implemented in academic universities, business schools, and business support centers. Within the framework of the conducted research on the trends in the development of business education in the Republic of Bashkortostan, key areas for its further development have been identified, and the conditions under which the development of business education is possible from a practical point of view and the adaptability of business programs have been described. The study identified the main trends and prospects for the development of business education in the regional aspect. Despite the fact that business education adapts to the demands of the market, the application of acquired knowledge in practice depends only on the student and the listener. The data obtained generally reflect the general Russian trend in this area.
