On the issue of teaching sociological knowledge in a technical university in the aspect of the formation of universal competencies

In the context of preparations for the introduction of a new domestic higher education system and the uncertainty of the list of social and humanitarian disciplines in the educational programs of technical universities, it is becoming relevant to consider the teaching of sociological knowledge, its role in the formation of universal competencies of future engineers, citizens of our country.

The article analyzes the problems of teaching sociological knowledge in universities in recent decades, and provides pedagogical recommendations for their resolution in teaching sociological knowledge at a technical university.
