As part of a pilot project on the transformation of higher education, MAI is training integrated engineers in the interests of the aerospace industry. This cannot be achieved without providing in-depth development of modern digital technologies and methods, development tools and programming languages for creating digital services, applied artificial intelligence systems and digital counterparts of complex objects and processes.

The article presents the experience of implementing project activities at MAI, using the example of an IT-project as a first course project in the training of integrated engineers for the aviation and rocket and space industries.

Keywords: educational programs, project activities, information technology, artificial intelligence, integrated engineer, engineering education, aviation technology, personnel training, rocket and space technology, industrial partner
