Practice of countering the ideology of terrorism on the Internet: On the example of educational organizations of the Rostov region

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the importance of countering the ideology of terrorism in all its manifestations on the Internet by introducing digital training programs to reduce the negative impact of provocative information on young people studying. The specifics of online terrorism are highlighted and an analysis of the practice of countering the ideology of terrorism on the Internet at the regional level is presented. The characteristics of the choice of the target audience of the events, the concept and methods of public involvement in countering terrorism in the online and offline environment are given. The recommendation aspects of the program to counter the ideology of terrorism on the Internet in educational institutions of the Rostov region, in particular, the Southern Federal University (SFU), the Don State Technical University (DSTU) and the gymnasium of the DSTU are considered. As a result of the conducted content analysis, measures to counter the ideology of terrorism on the Internet based on scientific and educational technologies of educational institutions with deep involvement of the region's public in the concept of the events are summarized. The main conclusions of the article are included in educational cases on specialized and related disciplines of DSTU, SFU and the gymnasium of DSTU in order to form a modern and targeted approach to countering the ideology of terrorism in the online environment.
