The relevance of the study is due to the fact that higher education is getting a new round in its development, which is determined by modern trends in the digitalization of society. At the same time, the influence of digital technologies on the system of higher education is inevitable, which entails a serious transformation of the educational process. The purpose of the presented socio-philosophical study is to analyze the modern educational process in higher education institutions. The author chose the following methods as a methodological basis: dialectical analysis, synthesis. The conclusions of this study are that the digitalization of the educational space, SMART-education laid the foundations of a modern personality-oriented educational paradigm.
