The article presents an analysis of the results of the study of the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological strategies of coping behavior of adolescents. The study of the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological strategies of coping behavior of adolescents is relevant, since adolescence is characterized by intense emotional experiences, the search for one's place in society, as well as personality formation. Therefore, it is important to investigate how emotional intelligence and psychological coping strategies affect the psychological well-being of adolescents and their ability to effectively cope with life difficulties. When studying the problem of research, methods were used to diagnose the level of emotional intelligence and determine the dominant ways of coping. The results of correlation analysis using the Pearson coefficient revealed a significant correlation between the strategy of ‘Confrontational coping’ and ‘Self-motivation’, between the coping strategy of ‘Self-control’ and the components of emotional intelligence ‘Self-motivation’ and ‘Empathy’. Also, a significant relationship was revealed between the level on the scale of ‘Understanding emotions’ with the strategy of ‘Taking responsibility’, between The revealed interrelations between the coping strategies ‘Problem solving planning’ and the components of emotional intelligence ‘Self-motivation’ and ‘Empathy’ show, that adolescents with a higher level of emotional intelligence have a more effective coping with life stresses and problems, therefore, the development of emotional intelligence skills can contribute to improving the psychological well-being of adolescents and help them successfully cope with difficulties in everyday life.
