The problem of ensuring the quality of education of university graduates in connection with the beginning of the transformation of the higher education system is considered. It is shown that the Ministry of Education and the management of universities pay insufficient attention to the issues of ensuring the quality of education, focusing on the assessment of the quality of education. It is proposed to use an interdisciplinary learning model in engineering education, switch to teaching in teachers’ classes. Modern teachers should master a personality-activity approach to teaching, which allows them to realize the educational function of education. Attention is drawn to the need to involve employers in the formation of specialists from university graduates.
Keywords: transformation of higher education, quality assurance of education, interdisciplinary training, personality-activity approach in teaching, educational and nurturing environment.
