The article analyzes the process of virtual self-identification of young people using modern electronic communication technologies by various scientific methods. Modern technologies not only work, but also change a person from the inside, without his values, cognitive programs and functional structures. In this sense, it is important to understand how the characteristics of young people are most actively changing under the influence of mixed reality, affecting the personality, changing the nature of activities and personality structures.

The article uses a holistic approach to the problem aimed at a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenon of self-identification in the modern world and changes in the analysis of words. The novelty of this research lies in the study and analysis of the processes of formation and development of virtual characteristics of young people.

The importance of the work lies in the fact that the level of education and development strategies of young people who already communicate in completely different worlds can be changed. The success of personal self-determination largely depends on a person's ability to think.

Key words: socialization, mixed reality, virtuality, structurality, functionality, communication, identity, youth, social environment.
