Examined is the problem of education of gifted students, as one of the most difficult and interesting aspect of contemporary pedagogy and psychology. The purpose of the article is to identify psychological characteristics of development of gifted students. Examining are school difficulties of gifted students, and also analyzing are causes of internal and external nature. Principal result of the study is theoretical analysis of relationship between learning and development of gifted children, and their psychological characteristics. Materials of the article would be useful for teachers, students and wide range of readers, interested in problems of education of gifted students.
