On the program “Metaphysical grounds of Russian orthodox art”: peculiarities of methodology and content

Presented is overview of additional educational program of the course “Metaphysical foundations of the Russian orthodox art”. The author elaborated special role of the image of Sofia the Wise in the process of taking roots on Russian grounds, and also pointed on significance of that image as to formation of traditions of psychiasm in frames of what were elaborated religious art forms of Russian orthodox approach. Novelty of approach, proposed by creators of such program, is in presentation idea of consciliarism as theleology regulation for neorototical project of Russian orthodox culture. That approach opens possibility for deep intrusion into problematic of processes of reviving and formation of modern Orthodox art.
