Conflicts in university environment: analysis of causes of initiation

Researched is the theme of socio-psychological discomfort, that accompanies the process of modernization of higher education, inevitably leading to conflicts in university environment. Under existing circumstances, objective necessity is study of specifics of conflicts, arising in university, and analysis of their causes.The article analyses conflict reasons in at three interaction levels, i.e. between teachers and administration of educational institution, between teachers and sub-faculty head, and between teachers and students. According results of the study, about 70% of teachers and 80% of students indicated existence of conflict relations in university environment. However, assessment of causes of conflicts by participants in conflict interaction is different.
