Examined are possibilities of choosing color in designing of modern jewelry. Importance of professional training of artists jewelers (bachelorship, mastership) is touched upon, and creative activity of students is illustrated with analyzing colors of metals. Also color features of non-traditional metals in jewelry art and use of non-ferrous gold are considered, and it’s use in creation of jewelry. The most frequently used metals were compared (tone and color saturation). Attention is drawn to the latest fashion trends in jewelry when choosing colors, as well as examples of well-known jewelry firms using traditional and non-traditional color of metals in one product.
