Examined is the process of influence of urbanization and globalization on imperatives of ethnic self-awareness of national languages and cultures. Analyzed are features of organization of ethno-cultural environment through realization of physical culture and sport fests for the youth, learning to know and adopting national traditions and ceremonies as means of resurrection of national culture and national self-consciousness of ethos. Conclusion is made, that national people’s games, fun games, applied physical exercises as components of fests of ethos, are being conductive to raising of the kevel of physical fitness and physical education of youth, bringing sense of collectivism, uniting representatives of various peoples, contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and interpenetration of cultures, as well as serve as effective means of increasing the level of physical development and successful socialization of young people.
