Presented is the study of the problem of management of quality of professional training of military officer in historical retrospective. States and solved is the task of construction of logic dependence between effectiveness of management of professional training of military officer and significance various historical events. Defined and analyzed are principal periods in military history of Russia as to analyzing by the author theme. In conclusion, attention is paid to the fact, that in all historical periods principal feature of management of quality of professional training of military officer was combat experience, transmitting by each previous generations of officers of the country.
