Problem of estimation of artistry of decorative applied art products in educational process at higher school

Considered is the problem of estimation of arts and crafts products, executed by students in educational process. Contradictions in the analysis and assessment of educational and creative operations are revealed. The conclusion is drawn, that irrespective of studied type of arts and crafts the major requirement to arts and crafts products, their character, complexity and function, is artistry. The author revealed principles, allowing to determine the art value of arts and crafts objects and to carry them to the field of art. Criteria of artistry in case of assessment of arts and crafts operations of students, which understanding will allow them to reach great professional skills are revealed.

Key words: methodic of training in national arts and crafts, artistry, criteria for evaluation of arts and crafts products.
