Process of globalization in culture: challenges and contradictions

Analyzed is the process of evolution and synthesis of “modernity” and “traditional” in the sphere of culture as a social phenomenon under influence of the process of globalization. The author examines globalization as process to be filled with problems and contradictions. In connection with that revealed are both positive and negative sides in development of such. In particular, in detail described are problem peculiarities of the examining process, i.e. how elements of Western culture might to be fortified on traditional ground, to what extent such are being perceived, and in what spheres of areas of life they are being limited. Also considered are different ways of preserving of traditions both in the form of new kinds of cultural activity and cooperation, and as kind of opposition, resistance until terror.
