Discussed is the problem of mobile training of students at high school during the process of their training in the discipline of “Foreign language”. Viewpoints of Russian and foreign authors on the definition of “mobile learning” concept are provided. The authors’ own personal experience of using of elements of mobile learning application in training in English language of students of Tomsk polytechnic university is being described. Students were offered to fill in the questionnaire to identify their views on the use of mobile learning when studying the discipline of “English language”. Based on the analysis of foreign and domestic pedagogical literature, experience of mobile learning application, and on questionnaire of students, both advantages and disadvantages of mobile learning have been revealed. In the future, it is planned to reveal also other advantages of mobile learning with using it more actively in the process of training university students.
