Examined is the problem of students’ mentality in a pedagogical university, defined as a method to form value and sense orientation, depending derectly on interioration of cultural artefacts. Mental vector is defined as dominant way of value and sense orientation, determining it’s “mark” in terms both of developmental, i.e. interactive, and traditional, i.e. imperative, educational strategy.
